If you tend to wake up late, ignore this one. If you’re prepared to sacrifice a bit of sleep for some mind-blowing food then book a table at the The Grill Room Restaurant for breakfast. Their unlimited buffet (LBP 58.000/38$ per person) is to die for and the waiters are at your beck and call.

There’s nothing better than a juicy burger and a good milkshake to cure a hangover. Salads are also available if your significant other sadly happens to be on a diet.

Dar Al Mreisseh St. Ain El Mreisseh
Tel 961 1 369334

Casablanca is known for only using organic products –most of which come straight from the owner’s farm in the countryside– so indulge in a healthy brunch and order a sake martini! We particular recommend that you try their cheesecake (LBP 16.500/10$), it’s wow.

Are you craving a fresh pomegranate juice (LBP 8.750) with Eggs Royale (LBP 23.000)? We are. This concept store / eatery serves some tasty healthy dishes. If you plan on going with your significant other, why not order a Classic Breakfast for two (LPB 38.500) which includes a Hot drink, fresh juice, a viennoiserie basket, jam & butter with French bread and a waffle sprinkled with sugar.

Bread Republic

Bread Republic is a healthy breakfast and lunch spot. Serving organic vegetables and local produce, dishes are tastefully wholesome. Egg worshippers: order the Tabouleh omelette (LBP 11.500/7.5$) for the perfect west-meets-orient type of dish. Their dark lemonade, with blackcurrant and blackberry, is also pretty delicious.

For a bit of sunshine, head to the Albergo’s rooftop. This charming Garden of Eden is one of our favourite spots to enjoy a tasty breakfast. Whether you’d like some scrambled eggs with truffles (LBP 40.000) or are more into their Lebanese Breakfast Combo (LBP 37.000/24$), this place will treat you well.

Indigo on the roof

Tel +961 1 972000

While they stop serving breakfast at 12.00 on the weekend, you can catch a “late breakfast” for lunch on Sundays. Eggs are naturally on the menu and they’re egg-cellent. Their bircher muesli and porridge are also pretty damn good.

Daily from noon-11pm
Mar Mikhael
Tel +961 1 569 939

If –like us– you’re obsessed with truffles, then order the oeuf cocotte baked in a ramequin and covered with cream and black truffle (LBP 19.000). If you dig oysters, they’re also on the menu. Prune is a great way to start the day and A cote (their next door bistro, which serves tasty sandwiches and lobster rolls) is also a good choice.
