3 dishes to eat in London this week

London is full of delicious treats and while we absolutely love discovering new ones, sometimes we just have a need to go back to those we love.
Here are 3 dishes we are craving this week – and that we absolutely recommend you try, if you haven’t already.

Cauliflower Gyoza from Dickie
Fitz – £14.50

We know what you’re thinking: “Cauliflower gyoza? That’s weird”. True but this Middle-Eastern meets Japanese dish absolute blew us away. It came with pine nuts, raisins and a creamy stuffing – and it disappeared faster than we would’ve liked (but that might be because everyone kept digging in).

The Octopus from Peckham Bazaar – £7.50

When our friend Lola mentioned Peckham Bazaar to us, her eyes twinkled and her face lit up. She just kept talking about “that octopus…” – which we absolutely had to try. And damn was she right. Not only was it cooked to perfection but its white tarama and parsley dressing and charlotte potato side were just sumptuous.

We recommend you give them a call beforehand to make sure they keep some octopus for you, as they tend to run out!

The truffle pizza from Oliveto – £19.50

We don’t usually like making alterations to dishes, but a good friend insisted we ordered this thin-crust pizza without the spinach, and we are so glad we listened. This incredibly creamy truffle pizza comes with lots of ricotta cheese and a poached egg. Do we need to say more?
