3 London Food Events to book this month
Food lovers: we have selected 3 events not to miss this month. Bon appétit!
Taste Film presents Ratatouille – November 19th 2017 – £45 per person
Dinner and a movie: what’s not to like? Especially when it’s a multi-sensory experience. Award winning chef Jesse Dunford Wood has concocted a four-course menu that has been imaginatively crafted and inspired with Ratatouille’s most memorable food scenes in mind. The event, which will take place at Parlour in Kensal Green, promises to be delicious.
Ratatouille will of course be making an appearance (the dish, not Remy the rat)!
The Flavour Gallery – 9th November to 17th December 2017- £15 per person
This art-meets-food event, which is taking place at The Hoxton Basement, is incredibly intriguing. Upon arrival, guests are given an edible cocktail which they can nibble on (as opposed to sip) and are invited to walk around and be immersed. The space showcases artwork from the likes of Terry Pastor, London Loom and Anja Predojevic which guests will see, taste, smell and touch. That’s a whole new kind of art show….
Beauty and The Feast – 6th October 2017 to 14th January 2018 – £45 per person
“We kindly request to amuse your bouche with some fine art feasting” is an interesting way of describing this interactive show which involves a feast, but if amusing our bouche is involved then we’re in! Guests follow in Belle’s footsteps, arriving at the Beast’s grey palace where the serving staff, transport them into this modern fairytale, which involves a scrumptious feast to awaken their inner beast.
