Our absolute favourite thing to do in London involve eating, (drinking) and going for a little stroll (when it’s not raining of course). Food (and booze) tours are the best way to discover a city, especially when you are as obsessed with food as we are. Below are our 3 favourites.
Michelle Francis might be from Australia but she sure knows her way around London’s best food joints. On the Soho Food Tour (£61.50), the ex-chef and ex-restaurateur will show you around London’s most eclectic neighbourhood through 10 delicious courses. She’ll show you the best foodie spots and Soho’s hidden secrets.
If Soho isn’t a secret for you anymore, she also guides Marylebone Food Tours (£69) – which surprisingly shows two very different aspects of London: the glam and the grit. From artisan shops and cute cafés to authentic sausage rolls and Syrian shops, this walk is definitely a fun adventure.
Gin is the cool drink in town these days and that’s fine by us as we LOVE it. From £63, The Gin Journey enables you to taste different gins and cocktails in bars and distilleries across Shoreditch, Bermondsey and Notting Hill. All of this in a chauffeured drive (so no strolling here)!
If you’re feeling a bit down these days, your mood will definitely be lifted thanks to 3 hours of chocolate tasting (for £45). You have the choice between the Chelsea tour which is more dark-chocolate focused or the Mayfair tour which is more milky! For £60, you can also do an evening tasting tour which is paired with cocktails!
